Hidden Growth: Build, Convert, or Walk Away Financing is tight, costs remain sticky, and capital discipline matters more than ever. This session explores how expansions, conversions - or knowing when to walk away - can unlock hidden growth, often delivering faster returns with less risk than ground-up development. We’ll break down the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and unit mix to design, lease-up, and operations.
Attendees will leave with a practical decision framework to evaluate expansions, assess conversions, and quickly identify whether existing land, empty buildings, or underused sites can become reliable cash-flow drivers or not. The focus isn’t adding more sites - it’s strengthening the balance sheet, expanding where demand is proven, and building smarter so deals still work in a lower-rent environment.
