NeSSA is honored to serve our members. Some of NeSSA's highlights from 2025 include:
- Brought in the New Hampshire and Maine Self Storage Associations to co-host another Northeast Storage EXPO that featured a larger, sold-out tradeshow hall, numerous educational sessions, a social event, and a lot of networking and relationship-building
- Assisted the National SSA in a long-awaited legislative victory for Rhode Island's lien law
- Monitored individual state legislative needs
- Continue to be an on-demand resource for new and existing members with answers, referrals, and advice
- Held another phenomenal Fall Retreat with high value speakers who focused on varying topics including an operations-based State of the Market discussion, in-depth roundtables, and how to become a leader
- Continued our collaboration with Inside Self-Storage as an additional member benefit
- Maintained our webinar series for those who rely on virtual education
- Awarded $5,000 amongst two deserving academic scholarship recipients
- Honored the life, legacy, and dedication of Charlie Fritts through a Kure It grant fundraiser
- Spearheaded a merger with our neighbors, the New Hampshire Self Storage Association
- Plus the maintenance of our existing resources such as our quarterly newsletter, Member Discount Program, MSM Messenger, and more
Dues are an important part in helping NeSSA maintain a healthy financial position so we can continue to provide the same level of resources, education, and support our members deserve.
