I hope this message finds you well as we move into a busy and exciting season for our association.

We are looking forward to gathering once again at the Fall Retreat, returning to the Publick House on September 24. This year’s agenda is filled with engaging and interactive sessions, including discussions on the state of our market and strategies to increase value, leadership development, and member-driven focus groups. The Retreat is always a highlight for networking, education, and community—be sure to visit the Retreat webpage to view the full agenda and register. I hope to see many of you there.

Looking further ahead, we’re thrilled to announce that the 2026 Northeast Storage EXPO will return to Foxwoods on May 13–14. This is a can’t-miss event that brings together education, networking, and innovation — all tailored to the unique needs of our northeastern industry. Mark your calendars now!

We also celebrate a major legislative victory for Rhode Island operators: the newspaper mandate has officially been eliminated from the lien sale process, and the enforcement timeline has been extended to 60 days. This is a significant step forward for our industry. Our Rhode Island Member Resource library, including updated lease agreements, has already been refreshed to reflect these changes.

At the time of this writing, we are in the midst of an important member vote on the proposed merger with NHSSA. This merger represents a tremendous opportunity to strengthen our community, expand resources, and build a stronger future together. Your participation is critical, as the merger requires a two-thirds approval from Facility and Dual members. Please look out for the DocuSign emails from our attorney (and check your spam/junk folders if you haven’t seen them). Every vote matters, and we thank you for your engagement in this important process.
