What Would You Do? Operations & Marketing Workshop

The Northeast Self Storage Association is returning to the Publick House Historic Inn for our annual Spring Retreat and registration is now open!

Start off your day with mingling and breakfast before settling in to hear from industry experts Charlie Fritts of Storage Investment Management, Inc. and Steve Tranni of Stor-U-Self on the ever-changing topics of operations and marketing. After lunch you’ll reconvene with your tables to work on “what would you do” scenarios designed to challenge and expand what you think you know about your self storage business.

After the success of last year’s interactive session, we’re excited to continue providing our members and attendees with educational and professional content that they can implement as soon as our event ends.

Charlie Fritts, President of Storage Investment Management Inc, will cover the following bulletpoints during his operations session:
-Hiring effective management and office staff
-Training staff properly and supervision
-Retention and compensation of staff
-Key statistics to monitor and analyze
-Rent increase strategies that work
-Goal setting & budgeting
-Staff/Owner involvement

During his segment, Stor-U-Self’s Steve Tranni will show which opportunities will maximize the return of dollars invested in a local marketing plan. He will also tap into the various topics of sponsorships, direct mail, internet, social media, and “street marketing,” and show how you can tie it all together.
